What’s a “workup”?
You pay per new-patient workup — the full case EMME prepares for you. Everything around it is unlimited, including the AI scribe (the notes, referrals and letters it drafts from your consult — always free). A workup is a finished deliverable, not an API call — it quietly runs several models but counts once.

Charged only on success — a failed run is never counted. Re-running a protocol counts, because it spends the compute again.
